Welcome to Iowa Women’s Wrestling camps, where athletes will enhance their understanding of skills and tactics of freestyle wrestling taught by the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Team. Sessions will include drilling, sparring, situational live wrestling, and meaningful conversations with the Iowa Women’s Wrestling student-athletes and staff.

Open to any and all girls, grades 5-12 in the Fall of 2024

What to Bring

Campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. We strongly recommend athletes to bring their own disinfectant or cleansing soap (such as Dial or Defense) for when you shower. Sets of workout clothes for 2-3 sessions a day is required.

• Workout Clothes (a set includes: t-shirt, shorts/leggings, sports bra, underwear, socks)
• Wrestling Shoes
• Running Shoes
• Head Gear
• Knee Pads
• Mouth Guards
• Towels (wash cloth, hand towels, bath towels, etc. - please avoid white towels)
